Innovative 3-Drum 40” x 48 Plastic Pallet Adds Efficiency to Drum Handling

OCONOMOWOC, Wis.-- ORBIS Corporation announced that it has launched the 40 x 48 3-Drum Heavy-Duty Structo-Cell Pallet, featuring three molded-in rings to secure standard 55 gallon drums during storage and transportation. This innovative pallet provides users with an efficient drum handling solution, based on the widely used 40 x 48 pallet footprint. *

The 40 x 48 3-Drum Heavy-Duty Structo-Cell Pallet is available in FDA approved material and offers a dynamic load capacity of up to 4,000 lbs. for use in food, pharmaceutical, chemical and beverage operations. This double-faced pallet is well suited for conveyors and other automated equipment applications. It offers molded-in nest stops for secure stacking in transit and storage and is designed and manufactured to withstand continuous heavy use and exposure to chemicals or moisture, without splintering or deteriorating. This high-density polyethylene 40.0” x 48.0” x 5.1” pallet offers:

• Impact resistance
• Secure stackability
• Secure drum storage/handling
• Long service life
• Resistance to chemicals, moisture and extreme temperatures
• Compatibility with automated warehouse systems
• Versatile handling, with 4-way hand and fork truck entry
• Static load capacity: 30,000 lbs.; Dynamic load capacity: 4,000 lbs.

This pallet provides an environmental alternative to wood pallets used for drum handling and is fully recyclable at the end of its service life. The all-plastic pallet cannot harbor pests, mold or fungus. Available options include molded-in logo placement, identification plates, vinyl labels, anti-skid disks and grommets.

*NOTE: When pallet is holding drums, drums will overhang up to 1.25” on all four sides.
