As part of an ongoing commitment to training, ALL Erection and Crane Rental Corp. (Cleveland) will be increasing its mandatory training and safety courses for service technicians in 2006. This doubles the previous year’s course total. All classes are taught by factory representatives on their respective equipment, both on the current rental fleet and newly acquired equipment.

“This rigorous training program empowers our technicians by grounding them in the most current equipment servicing techniques and the latest safety mandates,” said Kirk Ward, safety manager. “We offer perhaps the largest fleet of lift equipment and cranes in the country and we maintain and provide service for all of the equipment we rent and sell. Strengthening our technician training seemed like one of the most important service standards we could offer customers.”

ALL’s professional service department inspects each piece of equipment before it goes out on a job to make sure it is in top condition and meets all OSHA standards. The company’s 24-hour service ensures that any downtime will be minimal and that contractors will not be burdened with extra maintenance on equipment. In addition, ALL’s policy of providing fully trained operators for every piece of rental equipment allows contractors to get up to speed on a job quickly without having to train their personnel on rental equipment.

The company offers its fleet of cranes, aerial work platforms, boom trucks, material handlers and other lift equipment from more than 25 strategic locations in the U.S. and Canada, providing rental, sales, service, and job site analysis to help customers get the right equipment for the job.
