WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--*Avery Dennison’s Retail Information Services Division announced today that it has formed an alliance with Rinke Etiketten, a leading woven and printed label manufacturer headquartered in Sprockhövel, Germany.

The alliance will benefit European-based brand owners and retailers by providing a single source for a comprehensive range of brand and product identification solutions, including woven and printed labels, bar-coded price tickets, pressure-sensitive tags and labels, information management and solution-enabling products. The solutions can address global requirements at any point along the supply chain, including brand owner, manufacturing, distribution center and retail store levels.

According to Robert Loop, vice president of marketing for Avery Dennison’s Retail Information Services Division, the alliance enables Avery Dennison to better serve its European-based brand owner and retailer customers and establishes a solid platform to support the company’s European marketing efforts.

“The alliance brings together two industry leaders whose product offerings are complementary,” says Loop. “It leverages Rinke Etiketten’s woven label design and production competencies with Avery Dennison’s superior capabilities in information management, brand identification, and bar code ticketing and labeling. European brand owners and retailers who source and distribute globally can now tap a single point of supply for virtually every product and brand ID requirement.”

Avery Dennison’s Retail Information Services Division and Rinke Etikettenwill share exhibit space and showcase their combined capabilities at the upcoming Mod’Amont Fair, scheduled for September 17-20, 2003, in Paris, France.
