OCONOMOWOC, Wis. – ORBIS Corporation offers the BulkPak® HD6248 series, a 62” x 48” collapsible bulk container series available in three heights, including 25”, 34” and 50”.
The HD6248 was designed to more efficiently optimize 53’ trailers, so more parts can be shipped in fewer trips. Their extended length design accommodates a wider variety of part sizes, shapes and weights. All containers are structurally-foam molded in high-density polyethylene and constructed to efficiently move, store and ship heavy automotive, appliance, furniture and transportation equipment components.
The HD6248 containers are part of ORBIS’ entire BulkPak® product line and offer several key advantages:
- 100% plastic runner system (no steel reinforcement)
o Reduces risk of “short-forking” loads
o Eliminates rust debris from contaminating product
o Fully recyclable at end of service life
- Self-standing sidewall (on long sides) for faster assembly/collapse time
- Multiple door configurations on 48” side. (0-door, 2-door and 4-door)
- Easy interface with all types of foam and plastic corrugated dunnage
- Areas on all four sidewalls to place cardholders, Identification plates, placards or molded-in logos. Identification plates are also available on base of all 50” containers.
According to Norm Kukuk, ORBIS senior product manager, “ORBIS offers the largest selection of bulk containers in the industry today, with footprints from 32” x 30” to 78” x 48” and multiple styles and heights.
