ALMERE, Netherlands—Cat Lift Trucks has signed an agreement to supply several of Ceva Logistics’ 1,000 worldwide locations with material handling equipment.

Ceva Logistics is a global 3PL that currently operates a fleet of more than 5,000 lift trucks.

Pierre Girardin, group director for strategy and business development; Simon Boggis, chief procurement officer; and Igor Magud, head of category sourcing at CEVA Logistics were present as the deal was signed in Almere, Netherlands. They joined H. Matsumoto, president of Cat Lift Trucks; Graham Lovatt, marketing director; and Tjeerd Koppenol, international accounts manager.

“It was all about the total package–a combination of the commercial offering, the service and the truck quality,” says Magud. “We view this very much as a long-term strategic partnership,” he adds. “We now have what we consider a market-leading solution and we feel we’ll be entrenched together for a very long time.”
