NAPLES, Fla.—The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported a 5% increase in its March 2008 booked orders index from February 2008 but a decrease of 13% from the March 2007 index.
The 12-month index for booked orders in March represents a decrease of 1% from February 2008’s 12-month index, according to CEMA.
Although the CEMA shipments index in March is up 7% from February 2008’s index, it represents a decrease of 12% from the March 2007 index. The 12-month index in March reflects a decrease of 1% from February 2008’s 12-month index.
