CHEPs USA Sells Its Reusable Plastic Container Business to Reusable Container Company LLC

Reusable Container Company LLC (Tampa, Fla.), a subsidiary of IFCO Systems (Houston), has purchased certain assets of the Reusable Plastic Container (RPC)

Reusable Container Company LLC (Tampa, Fla.), a subsidiary of IFCO Systems (Houston), has purchased certain assets of the Reusable Plastic Container (RPC) Services Business of CHEP USA (Orlando, Fla.). Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

"This acquisition underscores our commitment to the US RPC market and makes IFCO the market leader and driving force in the industry. We are excited about the huge market potential and will aggressively grow our RPC business," says Karl Pohler, CEO, IFCO Systems N.V.

Dave Russell, president, IFCO Systems N.A. agreed: "This purchase solidifies our commitment to our growers and retailers and to the US RPC industry as a whole." He added, “We are committed to ensuring uninterrupted services for all of our customers throughout the transition process."
