Chinese Airline Gets a Cargo Technology Boost

With user access worldwide, around the clock, TANG is fully integrated with Easy Cargo 5000 and Cargo Connections, China Southern’s cargo services. The new system offers door-to-door shipping and delivery. TANG’s cargo information covers 13 different modules running from booking shipments through warehousing functions, EDI, and tracking, among others.

According to the airline, its Online Cargo functions are the first of type in China. China Southern points to five important characteristics of Online Cargo: round-the-clock cargo tracking, global network coverage, visual cargo monitoring, easy to use operations, and multiple types of information.
