April 2, 2009
DALLAS-Steven W. Strifler has been named CEO of the provider of material handling solutions for warehousing and distribution.

Previously president and COO of the organization, he was named by the Cisco-Eagle chairman, Warren Gandall.

Strifler began his career at Cisco-Eagle’s Arkansas’ division in sales and engineering in 1995. He became vice president of Arkansas operations before being named president and COO of the company in 2000. As CEO, he will also continue as president.

In January, Strifler was elected to serve as a director of the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA). At the time, he said, “I get involved with MHEDA because it makes us better at what we do. Cisco-Eagle can serve our customers better because of the increased industry knowledge, education, training, networking and other resources it gives us.”
