CLARK Material Handling Company announced the promotion of Chuck Moratz to Chief Operations Officer. With this promotion, Moratz is responsible for overseeing the day to day operational and administrative functions of this lift truck provider

CLARK Material Handling Company announced the promotion of Chuck Moratz to Chief Operations Officer. With this promotion, Moratz is responsible for overseeing the day to day operational and administrative functions of this lift truck provider, including overall business planning, product development and strategic planning, distribution, financial, and sales and marketing activities. In addition, he will provide support and advice to CLARK’s CEO and executive staff.

Moratz brings more than 15 years of CLARK management and engineering experience to this position, most recently serving as vice president, Truck Operations and head of CLARK’s Engineering Department. Prior to these roles, he was a product manager for CLARK and the company’s representative on the Global Product Development Team responsible for the development and launch of several new products, including the Gen2, TMX, ECX, and the soon to be released Order Selector and Electric Tugger.

Moratz also lead manufacturing operations in North America and was responsible for the start up of the Lexington NPR and ESX assembly lines as well as the development of a MOD operation to meet dealer and customer needs.
