JONESBORO, Ark.--Colson Caster Corp. is naming a new president, Don Laux. Laux takes over immediately for Colson’s Chuck Bub who announced in November that he would be retiring after more than five years as president with the company.
“I am looking forward to starting the New Year off with the Colson team,” Laux says. “As we all know, 2009 will have its challenges, but we are already busy designing and managing projects to help further Colson’s legacy of product and program innovation.” Colson manufactures standard and custom application caster and wheel products.
With more than 20 years of manufacturing and distribution experience, Laux also brings 12 years of caster industry expertise to his new role at Colson. In addition to several executive positions with manufacturing firms including Elkhart Products and Hickory Hardware Caster and Floor Products, Laux served as president of Faultless Caster, where he was responsible for global manufacturing facilities in Germany, Malaysia, Canada and the U.S. and warehouse facilities in the U.S., Spain, Britain, France and Canada.
