BLUE BELL, Pa.— C&D Technologies Inc. has sold assets of its motive power division to Crown Battery Manufacturing Co. (Fremont, Ohio) for an undisclosed sum. Crown will take over C&D’s motive-power branch operations in Canada, New York and California and provide warranty service for C&D’s installed base of batteries and chargers.
C&D has also signed a five-year agreement with Crown to market C-Line, V-Line and Velocity batteries.
