BYRON CENTER, Mich.—Flow-Rite Controls has been named one of the “Michigan 50 Companies to Watch,” an awards program sponsored by the Edward Lowe Foundation and presented by Michigan Celebrates Small Business.
Companies nominated for the annual designation must be second-stage companies—defined as having six to 99 full-time-equivalent employees and generating $750,000 to $50 million in annual revenue or working capital from investors or grants. The companies must be privately held and headquartered in Michigan.
Winners were selected for their employee or sales growth, entrepreneurial leadership and sustainable competitive advantage, among other factors.
Flow-Rite will be honored on April 30 at a ceremony in Lansing, Mich.
