DANBURY, Conn.— Instapak Quick Room Temperature (RT) foam packaging from Sealed Air Corp. earned a 2007 Polyurethane “Innovation Award” from the American Chemistry Council.

The organization presented the awards this September in Orlando, Fla., at its Polyurethanes Technical Conference. The Instapak Quick RT foam packaging was one of two finalists in the Finished Products category. Finalists were on display at the conference, and the winner was chosen by votes from more than 975 attendees.

“The purpose of the Polyurethane Innovation Award is to highlight the efforts and foresight of companies and individuals whose visions have brought new products to the marketplace,” said Neeva-Gayle Candelori, director of the American Chemistry Council’s Center for the Polyurethanes Industry.

Instapak Quick RT foam packaging provides a custom-fit protective cushion that supports multiple packaging areas without requiring capital investment or installation associated with many packaging systems, according to Sealed Air.
