Cleveland, Ohio—Paragon Data Systems, the premier provider of barcode, RFID, and data collection solutions, announces its Forklift Label Printing Solution. Used in conjunction with Zebra’s QL 420 thermal mobile printer, the forklift label printing solution is ideal for use in distribution, shipping & receiving, and picking operations that currently use barcodes.

The QL 420 is designed with the most advanced rubber-infused overmolding technology to maintain rugged construction and a minimal weight. The QL 420 can be used for vehicle-mounted printing of pick tickets, customer pick-up slips, shipment labeling, inventory/label updates, meter reading receipts, delivery verification invoices, and gas and utility inspection documentation. The QuickLink Communication Idra, Bluetooth, or 802.11b modules give quick and easy options for communicating to the user’s system. If a print job can be sent to an IP address, it can now be sent right to a fork truck.

With Paragon’s Forklift Label Printing Solution, drivers no longer have to manage pre-printed labels in the tight spaces of a fork or pick truck. Rather than having to drive to get labels at a stationary printer, they can print them while still in the truck, saving time and vehicle wear and tear. Tags and labels are printed on demand using the QL 420 with Paragon’s vehicle mounting system, which can accommodate larger supplies of labels or tags than a hip worn printer. The printer is powered by the truck, eliminating the need to change batteries and allowing for continuous use.

Paragon offers services to help customers choose the right printer configuration and mounting kit as well as offering a complete line of wireless and barcode solutions.
