Fox IV Technologies Label Printer Applicator

Oct. 8, 2009
Fox IV Technologies Inc. introduces its model 2010 Basic Mini label printer applicator with a Datamax M-class Mark II printer.

According to Fox IV Technologies, the Basic Mini has the smallest footprint of all label printer applicators, measuring 18 inches high x 13.6 inches deep x 18 inches wide. Users can select an 8-inch or 14-inch application cylinder to print and apply label sizes from 1 inch x 1 inch to 4.25 inches x 6 inches.

Changing label and ribbon supplies is simplified by the label and ribbon paths screen printed directly on the centerwall. Menu prompts and messages are available in five languages: English, Spanish, French, German and Italian. With the optional international language print capability, it is possible to print Japanese Kanji, Korean Hangul or simplified Chinese characters.

Peripheral devices, such as barcode scanners, scales and keyboards can be connected directly to the Basic Mini, which is controlled by a 100-MHz, 32-bit multi-tasking processor. Standard communication includes USB and RS232 with options for wired or wireless Ethernet and remote printer monitoring from a web browser.
