Getting All Enterprise Data Together in One Place

ISTANBUL, TURKEY-Two major solution providers are expanding their partnership to now provide SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse on the Teradata database. In a joint announcement, the two claim, “Customers have asked for accelerated, unified access to detailed enterprise data for improved business visibility. To address this need, the partnership will deliver a seamlessly integrated and scalable solution that lowers total cost of ownership and consolidates data on one database platform.”

As a result of the collaboration, users will have an integrated offering that includes everything end-to-end, from data warehouse infrastructure and management to business intelligence tools.

SAP and Teradata see the integration of the two products permitting consolidation of all enterprise information in one place, thereby increasing detailed data visibility, enabling faster, better decision-making. Teradata’ database management system delivers high-volume data management, scalability and analytical processing speed. It is complemented by business scalability and speed for analysis from SAP NetWeaver BW and SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse Accelerator software. SAP BusinessObjects information management (IM) and business intelligence solutions complete provide final data warehousing and analysis capabilities.
