WASHINGTON-The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)announced the launch of its Education Provider Program (EPP). The program willresult in an extensive "course catalog" of top-tier green buildingeducational programs, peer-reviewed and approved by USGBC.

"The Education Provider Program is an extension ofthe council's mission and our ongoing efforts to broaden and deepen educationalofferings for green building professionals," said Peter Templeton, senior vicepresident of education and research for USGBC. "The program will reviewand promote top-quality, innovative courses that will expand green buildingknowledge and capacity across all sectors of the industry."

USGBC education providers are USGBC members, chapters,and affiliates who demonstrate an organization-wide commitment to greenbuilding and the development of high-quality educational courses. Coursesapproved by the EPP are currently listed on the USGBC website(www.usgbc.org/epp) and will soon be incorporated into the newly launchedGreenbuild365 Web site, USGBC's online portal for green building education,www.greenbuild365.org.
