Jacksonville Beach, FL – GreenRoo, the first industrial-duty turbine ventilator, is being introduced to the U.S. market by the Moffitt Corporation. Designed and engineered in Australia, the country renowned as the leader in developing practical and affordable green technology, GreenRoo provides 5,000 – 10,000 cfm of airflow without the use of electricity.

John Moffitt, President of Florida-based Moffitt Corporation, said, “Because the GreenRoo is wind driven, there are no electrical installation or operating costs. In addition, there is never any maintenance required for the units.” Moffitt continued, “When we first saw this product we realized it was a cost-efficient and zero-energy use product that, in many cases, is the perfect “green” alternative to exhaust fans. We knew we needed to introduce this technology to the U.S.”

The GreenRoo is designed with a Varipitch component to make it usable on any roof slope. It comes in throat diameter sizes of 12”, 24”, and 36”, all weighing less than 70 lbs. The GreenRoo is made of aluminum and stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance, while high performance bearings ensure unstoppable operation. The unit can be powder-coated to complement the color of the roof.
