BOISE, Idaho—WinCo Foods is building a new 700,000-sq ft distribution center in Boise that is expected to bring 175 to 200 jobs to the area.

The grocery company said it was close to reaching full capacity at its current distribution facilities in Woodburn, Ore., and Modesto, Calif., but also noted that it could take more than two years to complete construction of the new DC.

Once built, the new facility will serve WinCo’s stores in Idaho and eastern Washington.
