GST Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of NYK Logistics (Americas), has acquired Vexure Inc., a transportation and logistics company based in Jacksonville, FL. The two companies will maintain their functional independence.
While terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, Vexure, which is the parent of five transportation affiliated businesses: Stonier Transportation Group, Stonier Trucking Company, TRT Carriers, Velocity 3PL, and Alert Cargo Express, expects to end 2003 with revenues in the range of $80 million.
