MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN - Irista Inc., a leader in the development of logistics management systems, announced AMECO, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation, based in Greenville, South Carolina, will deploy Irista's warehouse management and transportation management applications to manage the receipt, shipment, tracking, and return of tools and supplies distributed at job sites located throughout the world.
AMECO provides comprehensive equipment, tools, and service programs for construction sites and maintenance projects, including power plants, industrial plants, and refineries. Approximately 6,000 SKUs from small hand tools to safety supplies are shipped to locations both within and outside the U.S. Tools are shipped from the company's Greenville, South Carolina, and Houston, Texas, support centers or direct from manufacturers to regional offices and projects.

"In order to improve our warehousing and distribution processes, AMECO will implement Irista's WMS and TMS applications to track and control tools and supplies down to the worker level. We'll capture a higher volume of quality data and realize greater efficiencies that will reduce costs, improve utilization, and enhance tool management at the job site. We'll also be able to perform tool and supply transfers, both site to site and warehouse to warehouse, with greater ease and accuracy."
