Jergens Wins Exporting Award

Jergens Inc. (Cleveland) was named a winner of the 2006 Governor’s Excellence in Exporting Award (E Award). Governor Bob Taft presented the award to Jergens President Jack Schron. This award is presented annually to Ohio companies and organizations of all sizes that demonstrate outstanding performance in exporting and recognize exporting as a vital component of the state’s economy.

“We are proud to be a member of the select group of 29 outstanding businesses in the state this year,” said Schron. Since 1991, more than 300 companies have received the award.

Jergens manufactures standard tooling components. Founded in 1942, the company has grown into four separate operating divisions, providing engineered solutions and products.
