Mack Trucks, Inc. (Lehigh Valley, Pa.) added a new parts distribution center in Jacksonville, Fla. The new facility joins existing distribution centers in Reno, Chicago, Dallas, Baltimore, Memphis and Toronto. Approximately $2 million was invested in the 170,000-sq.-ft. facility, which stocks 23,500 parts and is expected to fill more than 565,000 order lines annually.

"Among the key benefits of this extensive new facility is the fact that it offers dealers throughout the entire state of Florida, as well as Georgia, South Carolina and parts of Alabama, the opportunity to utilize ground overnight shipments instead of air freight," said Kevin Flaherty, Mack senior vice president - sales.
