Online Registration for Pack Expo Opens

Brand managers, marketers, package designers, engineers, R&D specialists and other packaging professionals can now take advantage of discounted online registration for PACK EXPO International 2006, October 29 - November 2 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. Sponsored by the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI, Arlington Va.), PACK EXPO International 2006 attendees registering via the official show web site, www.packexpo.com, will save 50% on entry fees and avoid long lines when the exposition opens.

Registration for the show through www.packexpo.com on or before October 10 2006 cost $25.00 per person. On-site registration and all registrations received after October 10, will be processed at the full admission rate of $50.00. This single admission fee allows access to exhibits for the entire five-day exposition and includes entrance to the co-located PROCESS EXPO (formerly the Food Processing Machinery EXPO) and Converting and Package Printing Expo (CPP EXPO).

Attendees will also have access to all of the technology pavilions at PACK EXPO International 2006. The popular Containers & Materials Pavilion will allow packaging professionals to review a diverse range of advanced, high performance materials, while The Showcase Of Packaging Innovations will provide inspiration in the form of the year's most innovative and award-winning package designs of the year. In addition, attendees can visit the new Brand Protection Pavilion to review the latest security technologies, brand protection devices, tamper evident features and new materials.

Entrance to the show's Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Pavilion, featuring solutions that meet the requirements of the entire supply chain, and Contract Packaging Pavilion, highlighting the latest contract packaging services available to the world's consumer and industrial goods manufacturers, is also covered by the single entry fee.

In total, PACK EXPO International 2006 will feature more than 1,600 machinery, materials, components and containers exhibitors utilizing 1.2 million net square feet of space. Thousands of packaging solutions will be available to the over 50,000 decision makers and purchasing influencers who are expected to attend, including 6,000 international visitors from more than 75 countries.

Information and registration for the Conference at PACK EXPO - held concurrently with PACK EXPO International from Monday, October 30 through Wednesday, November 1 - will also be available on www.packexpo.com starting in June.
