The company is acquiring Athens Packaging. Athens had been owned by the Keebler Co., a subsidiary of Kellogg Co.
Athens offers a full menu of packaging options, including design, logistics and warehousing, as well as technical and engineering support. The 225,000 sq ft Athens, Ga. facility was built in 2001 and presents a wide range of services, including shrink wrapping, carton packing, point-of-purchase displays, club-store packs and more.
Not only does the acquisition expand TLC’s stance in the Southeast, it allows the company to continue to service Kellogg while attracting new customers.
