A new placard (patents pending) holder for reusable totes, containers, racks, shelves, skids, and pallets that is silicone-free and allows Accucote®, Avery®, Raflatac® and similar labels to be cleanly removed is being introduced by Intelli-Plac LLC. of Atlanta, GA.

The Intelli-Plac™ Placard is a polymer film with an acrylic PS adhesive on one side and a proprietary embossed surface on the other, to which standard labels can adhere well, repeatedly, and be easily removed for re-labeling. Ideally suited for environments where silicone contamination would cause serious problems, such as clean rooms and paint shops, the durable embossed label holding surface is silicone-free and promotes cleaner labeling.

Unlike conventional placards which have top coated surfaces that can wear away during re-labeling, washing, or exposure to chemicals, and make it more difficult to remove labels, the Intelli-Plac™ Placard’s embossed surface is designed to work with standard thermal transfer and direct thermal printable label substrates. Available as rolls or sheets, plain or printed in clear, green, and custom colors, five sizes from 3 x 5” up to 10 x 14” are offered.

Intelli-Plac™ Placards are priced according to size, printing requirements, and quantity. Samples and price quotations are available upon request.
