The Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI) invites packaging professionals with engineering, marketing, R&D, production and operations expertise to submit presentation proposals for evaluation and possible inclusion in PMMI's 2006 Conference at PACK EXPO program. The theme for this year's conference is: "See the Future of Packaging – Here and Now!"
Deadline for submissions is April 3.
Packaging white papers, research reports, market analyses, technology assessments and educational presentations that answer the "what's in it for me?" question of packaging professionals score well with conference attendees who visit the exhibits at PACK EXPO (October 29-November 2) to evaluate and compare brand-specific packaging technologies. Conference attendees do not appreciate sales pitches, highly promotional or brand-specific presentations.
PMMI specifically seeks proposals for presentations on the topics outlined at its Web site, www.pmmi.org.
To submit a proposal, please email a 50 to 100 word abstract of the content of the presentation no later than April 3 to Anna Kostrzewa, PMMI program coordinator, at mailto:www.pmmi.org. Please include speaker name, title, company, address, phone, email--and a suggested title for the presentation--with the proposal. A committee of packaging professionals will evaluate all proposals, which should outline the technical/production data or market trends to be covered in the presentation.
