NEWTON, KS – Bunting’s modular PowerTrac Aluminum Frame Conveyors come in low- and medium-profile models that offer versatility combined with low-maintenance. The design features V-guide belt tracks that eliminate belt drift and keep belts centered even when heavily side-loaded or unevenly stretched. PowerTrac Conveyors are built to handle most belt-type conveyor applications and can be equipped with optional magnet assemblies for use with ferrous materials. Low-profile PowerTrac models are only 1.875 inches high and can be ordered from 2 inches to 24 inches in width and up to 20 feet in length. Medium-profile PowerTrac Conveyors measure 3.875 inches high and can be ordered in widths from 4 to 36 inches and in any length up to 100 feet. Other sizes are available as custom orders. Conveyors can be specified to the exact length required thanks to their extruded aluminum frames. Multiple motor and drive options provide a wide range of speed-to-weight ratios for additional versatility.

A wide assortment of standard belts is available to handle diverse PowerTrac applications. Optional cleated belts facilitate incline operation, part separation, precise timing, and counting. Independent rack-and-pinion belt tensioning simplifies changes. Full-length T-slots built into the rugged aluminum frame rails make further customizing easy: The T-slots allow for mounting whatever accessory hardware might be desired to monitor, control, or automate conveyor operation. PowerTrac maintenance is also easy thanks to features such as sealed self-aligning bearings and knurled stainless steel rollers for positive belt drive. Built-in belt wipers and T-slot covers speed cleaning by minimizing the accumulation of dirt, oil, and metal scrap.

Special options include a nosebar transfer assembly with a one-eighth-inch radius for close side- or end-load transfers of small parts. Magnetic models have powerful magnet assemblies installed beneath their stainless steel slider beds to hold ferrous parts securely against the belts for controlled spacing, vertical and upside-down transport, and orientation reversal.

PowerTrac low- and medium-profile conveyors are the latest addition to the popular lineup of pre-engineered and special-purpose Bunting Magnetic Conveyors, which are built with various Ceramic and Rare Earth magnet options to capture, control, and move ferrous metal parts and scrap vertically as well as horizontally.
