Produce Safety & Security International (Prescott, Ariz.), an ozone and chemical disinfectant product supplier to the food and medical industries, opened a new corporate office and distribution center in Prescott, Arizona.
The company markets "food safe" produce. It’s patented, EPA-registered processes sanitize and disinfect against food-borne illness pathogens. PDSC's ozone process has reportedly been shown to extend shelf life and remove food-borne illness bacteria. The process uses no chemicals thus meeting the requirements of organic certification.
