ProMat Moves to March for 2011

Oct. 2, 2009
For years, material handling professionals have willingly endured the bitter cold of Chicago in January to attend ProMat, North and South America’s premier material handling and logistics event. The next ProMat, coming in 2011, may bring better weather.

The new venue for the big ProMat show isn’t exactly the Bahamas in February, but many industry professionals will likely be pleased to learn that the Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) will host its next ProMat show March 21-24, once again at Chicago’s McCormick Place.

"We are committed to making ProMat 2011 an exceptional event where our association members and show attendees can come together to see what's new in our industry, discover the leading trends for industrial productivity, and foster strong business relationships,” says John Nofsinger, CEO of MHIA.

More than 700 exhibitors are expected to showcase their products in 300,000 net square feet of space. Manufacturing, warehousing and distribution professionals from more than 100 countries are expected to attend ProMat 2011 to see everything from traditional, manual equipment to the latest automated systems.

The ProMat exhibit spacedraw will be held January 21, 2010, at McCormick Place in Chicago. This is the first opportunity for exhibitors to secure their exhibit space at ProMat 2011. Contact Tom Carbott at 800-345-1815 or 704-676-1190 for more information about the spacedraw.
