GREENE, N.Y.-The Raymond Corporation, a North American manufacturer of material handling solutions, was named Warehouse Capital Equipment 2007 Operations Supplier of the Year by SYSCO Corporation. The award honors Raymond for its ability to efficiently and cost-effectively meet SYSCO's needs through exceptional customer service.

The six companies chosen for the 2007 Operations Supplier of the Year awards were selected by SYSCO's operations personnel and graded on their ability to meet SYSCO's requirements for quality of products and services, customer service, support, flexibility, accuracy and communications. The companies with the highest ratings in their respective categories were recognized with Supplier of the Year awards from SYSCO. Raymond received the highest score in the Warehouse Capital Equipment category out of 40 other companies in the same category.
