Checkpoint Systems, Inc. has added the EP CLEAR Tamper Tag for placement “on” or “inside” small high-risk items to its Enhanced Performance (EP) Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) labels. The label will not degrade branding or interfere with packaging design. Its printing and adhesive make it tamper resistant, and suitable for small items and high-value merchandise.

The EP CLEAR labels were tested at two large retailers and reduced shrink by more than 50 percent. The labels, combined with EVOLVE antennas, have shown a combined 95 percent or higher performance rating in retailer pilots.
