CHARLOTTE, N.C.—SATO, a provider of barcode printing, labeling and EPC/RFID solutions, has launched a nationwide onsite printer service program called SATO Ensure.

Technicians trained by SATO will travel to customer sites throughout the U.S. and Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver. Customers with new and existing printers can choose next-business-day service (within 24 hours) or standard service (within 24 to 48 hours).

The company’s onsite service plans include unlimited repairs, travel time and parts and labor (excluding print heads). They also include two free preventive maintenance checks per unit, per year, scheduled at the customer’s convenience.
