PALATINE, Ill.—Schneider Electric has created a Packaging Technology and Solutions Center (PTASC) to serve the automation, control and power needs of the packaging machinery business.

Combining resources from Schneider Electric’s subsidiary ELAU Inc. and the company’s OEM Technology and Solutions Center, the PTASC provides technical, application and engineering project management support to packaging machinery customers. An application lab allows customers to work with Schneider Electric and ELAU engineers to design machine solutions. In addition, customers can learn about the latest hardware and software in classes held at the center’s 12-seat training facility.

The PTASC is headquartered in Schaumburg, Ill., and additional resources are located in Boston and Raleigh, N.C.
