Apparel manufacturer Walls Industries (Cleburne, Texas), will use Manhattan Associates’, Inc. (Atlanta) EPC Manager integrated with its existing warehouse management software to improve its inventory and shipping accuracy. Walls distributes apparel to retail customers, outlet stores and online shoppers,

Walls implemented Manhattan Associates' Warehouse Management software in the mid-1990s with the primary goal of automating its supply chain. Since then, Walls has consolidated three of its facilities and now fulfills all orders through its Fort Worth distribution center. Using the increased inventory visibility and optimized distribution processes gained through the software, Walls is able to locate items quickly and accurately and put them to locations before they are needed. "We achieve more than 99% accuracy in what we ship today," says Tom Felton, chief information officer at Walls. "This translates into customer satisfaction." In 2004, Walls upgraded the solution to benefit from enhanced functionality and built-in support of RFID and other emerging technologies.
