RICHMOND, VA - The Jungheinrich Lift Truck Corp., a world leader in warehouse logistics technology, is announcing the new EFG 110-115 series of compact electric three-wheel forklift trucks. You’ll easily find the right truck to suit your operation’s performance needs here, with a choice of three load ratings, 2000, 2500, and 3000 lbs., and lift heights of up to 196 inches (EFG 110), 216.5 inches (EFG 113) or 171 inches (EFG 115). The EFG 110-115 trucks are dimensionally sized for easy maneuvering in tight spaces, and their rear-wheel drive is powered by Jungheinrich’s time-tested 3-phase AC technology.

The well-planned ergonomic design and high level of operator comfort of these vehicles will promote high worker productivity in your operation. For example, the cab offers a 3-way adjustable seat, excellent all-around visibility for safe driving and a high roof (82.3 inches) for superior headroom. Or, for container applications a lowered roof version (77.6 inches) is offered. And Jungheinrich’s designers have paid special attention to the operator controls, with a familiar automobile-style foot-pedal layout, an adjustable steering column and low-effort hydraulic power steering.

The operator’s display highlights all important data, like operating hours, battery charge level and brake system status, and the display system also stores all relevant servicing data. The optional Curve Control feature automatically reduces travel speeds around curves depending on the degree of steering lock, providing ride stability and protection from tip-over while cornering.

One outstanding control feature is SOLO-PILOT, a standard offering which combines access to the common functions of lifting/lowering, turn signal and horn use in one convenient control lever. Other functions, such as forward/backward tilting and fork side-shifting (optional) can be operated with additional levers ergonomically situated directly next to the SOLO-PILOT lever.

An alternative control is the optional MULTI-PILOT feature, which combines all drive and hydraulic functions in one central control lever. Here, all control commands can be carried out effortlessly with the operator’s hand on the lever, with no need to reach around.

The heart of this exciting new line of counterbalance trucks is Jungheinrich’s vaunted microprocessor-controlled 3-phase AC technology which powers all drive and lift functions. With no carbon brushes to wear, no fan required, and all motor components enclosed per IP54 for protection from dust, dirt and moisture, the temperature-controlled motor is well-suited to outdoor use and is essentially maintenance free. Your operators will experience no torque gaps and no speed loss, even in rigorous driving applications. In addition, an energy-reclamation system feeds back energy to the battery that would otherwise be lost during braking. As a result, you can get up to two shifts between charges, depending on the application; when a charge does become necessary, the battery will be easy to access. What’s more, these trucks will require service checks only every 1000 operating hours -- or every 6 months.
