(BROADVIEW, IL.) Interthor, the leading manufacturer for material handling equipment, has released a spear application for use on all Trans-Positioners and Trans-Stackers with an adjustable carriage making it easy to carry reels in a horizontal position.
“There has been a large demand for the spear in the packaging industry,” said Richard Kopacz,
president of Interthor. “The spear has a quick shift system and can easily fit on the Trans-
Positioners and Trans-Stackers, and then be replaced with other Interthor fork options including
the crane arm, platform, drum turner or reel rotator.”
The capacity of the spear depends on weight and length of the reel placed equally on the spear
length. A strong construction ensures a long operating life and low maintenance costs.
