Subscription-Based Media Providers Add Fulfillment Centers

Operating under a unlimited rental, membership-based business model, Simply Audiobooks added a new fulfillment center in Las Vegas to serve customers in the western United States.

"The addition of our Las Vegas facility is just one of the exciting expansion initiatives planned this year, made possible by recent financing," says Sean Neville, company CEO. "We are committed to being the most convenient and affordable audio book rental service in North America."

Launched in 2003, Simply Books recently completed a second round of financing backed by a group of private Canadian and American investors.

Following a similar growth pattern and business model, GameZnFlix, Inc., opened new distribution centers in Holtville, Calif., and at its current headquarters in Franklin, Ky. The company provides video game and DVD movies to members paying $17.25 per month. It has announced plans to open another DC in the Northeast area of the United States later this year.
