The Outsourcing Center and Everest Group, in association withForbes, have announced 2004's most outstanding global outsourcing relationships. TNT Logistics North America and Michelin North America have jointly received the award for 2004's Most Transformational Outsourcing Relationship.

"These relationships demonstrate best practices in creating and sustaining mutually beneficial relationships whose value increases over time," said Peter Bendor-Samuel, CEO and founder of Everest Group and Outsourcing Center. Established by The Outsourcing Center in 1997, this awards program (formerly Editor's Choice Awards) seeks out, interviews, evaluates, recognizes and publicizes outstanding outsourcing relationships and awards both the buyer and service provider.

This year, more than 200 nominations were received for seven categories, which include Best First Steps, Best Refreshed, Most Collaborative, Best Process Improvement, Most Innovative Value Creation, Best Partnership and Most Transformational. It was in the latter category that TNT Logistics and Michelin were recognized.
