USGBC Calls for Education Reviewers

WASHINGTON—The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is calling for USGBC members interested in joining the team that provides peer review of courses and content related to the organization’s education provider program.

“Given the exponential growth in the green building market, there is a proportionate demand for top-quality education opportunities to support that growth,” according to the USGBC. USGBC’s new online education portal, Greenbuild365, includes a catalog of courses designed to help professionals go beyond LEED and enrich their knowledge of green building theories, techniques and business trends. Reviewers provide important oversight, says USGBC.

The USGBC also announces a review process for conferences and events, along with a new fee structure, effective Oct. 13.
