ELCs are warehouse and distribution service providers. Throughout the world, DHL has 10 ELCs. It also has 330 Strategic Parts Centers (SPCs) worldwide, with 50 of them in Latin America. Among other value added services provided at ELCs are final assembly and kitting, inventory management, brokerage services, customs clearance and packaging and labeling, among others.
Typically SPCs are warehousing facilities located close to its customer’s offices in a given country. Beside centralizing parts and product offerings, the carrier offers rapid distribution. Learn more at www.dhl.com.
