Yahoo! Cat is the Official Rodeo Ride

HOUSTON—For the fifth year in a row, Cat Lift Trucks and its local dealer, Adobe Equipment Inc., is the Official Lift Truck Provider for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the world’s largest.

Some 80 Cat lift trucks will be used for everything from moving 700,000 visitor guides, transporting animal feed and hay to stocking food and beverage stations and delivering stage equipment. Adobe Equipment technicians will be on hand to service and support all donated lift trucks used during the show.

Not only does Cat donate its lift trucks for use at the rodeo that attracts some 1.6 million visitors, the company also hosts a Big Brothers Big Sisters night, provides judges for the rodeo’s Agricultural Mechanics Project Show and invites Texas Future Farmers of America (FFA) Tractor Technical teams to its facility for a plant tour.
