iCiX Inc., a web based network for analyzing supply chain risk and managing supplier information, has raised $6 million in a series B funding round led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson with participation from Starfish Ventures. The capital will allow iCiX to accelerate product development, sales and marketing, expanding their reach and impact on the supply chain industry, notes Matt Mosman, CEO of iCiX.

The iCiX network is a web-based system used by companies to manage the exchange of validated information between buyers and suppliers. More than 70,000 facilities are already using the iCiX system, the company says, including top retailers and food companies, to share, verify, and exchange quality and compliance information across the supply chain.

iCiX provides a solution for managing recalls, corrective actions, validate certifications, products and test results for retailers, manufacturers, distributors and suppliers.
