At Last, a Standard Bill of Lading for NAFTA Countries

Common sense, if nothing else, has long indicated that a uniform NABOL would solve many problems for both shippers and carriers, not the least of which would be to save time and money. As the National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA) explains, one hang-up was developing a standard for liability that would answer differing limitations imposed in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. (The NCC and NMFTA publish the NMFC in book form and as an online subscription service.)
