In its annual World Cargo Traffic Flow Model and North American Transborder Flow Model, The Colography Group also draws other conclusions about the global and domestic airfreight market.

Colography feels e-business will play some havoc with global supply chains. An order via e-mail may come from any point, meaning that shippers can no longer exert control over shipping patterns. The prediction is that more product will be put into warehouses, and carriers will make more frequent, shorter delivery trips.
