Pattonair Signs Seven-Year Supply Chain Deal with Rolls-Royce

Pattonair, a provider of supply chain services to the aerospace and defense industry, has announced a significant expansion to its operations in support of Rolls-Royce. A new seven-year contract extends the relationship to North America and covers Pattonair's delivery of parts and services to North American operations for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) as well as maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) activities.

Pattonair already provides Rolls-Royce with supply chain management services, delivering logistical, direct line feed and kitting services to Rolls-Royce locations in the UK and Germany.

Building upon this existing relationship, the new contract takes effect on January 1, 2011, is expected to generate annual revenue in excess of $20 million and has an initial term extending until December 31, 2017. The scope of work covers fixed and rotary wing aircraft engines, as well as naval power generation sets.

Planning is already underway and the contract will be fulfilled from a new Pattonair facility in Indianapolis, Indiana with management oversight from Fort Worth, Texas.

In addition, it has been agreed with Rolls-Royce that Pattonair's existing major supply chain contract in the UK will be extended by two years and will therefore now run to December 31, 2017.
