The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its January 2014 Booked Orders increased 24.5% when compared to January 2013 orders. January 2014 booked orders when compared to December 2013 booked orders were up 12.9%.
January Booked Orders were up 32.1% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 4.9% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to December.
CEMA’s January 2014 Billed Sales (shipments) decreased by 0.2% when compared to January 2013 sales. January 2014 billed sales when compared to December 2013 billed sales were up 5.5%.
January Billed Sales were down 6.2% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 12.3% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to December.
