Although the consulting firm claims to already processes more than $10 billion in procurement transactions and sources $5billion in procurement spend each year for six global clients, its new business, Accenture Procurement Services, is now a separate unit within the company.

“Accenture Procurement Solutions draws on our proprietary technology-enabled solutions, global network of solution delivery centers and integrated approach to strategic sourcing and requisition-to-pay processing,” says Len Sherman, who has been named president of the new business.
