Carlyle Group Acquires Muller

Muller is now a stand-alone business under the Signode umbrella.

The Carlyle Group finalized its acquisition of Muller, a manufacturer of load containment products. Muller will now operate as a stand-alone business under the Signode Industrial Group.  The company’s products are sold around the world under the Muller brand as well as: Yellow Jacket, Haloila, Mima, GaleWrap and two new additions, Lachenmeier and Lock n’ Pop.

“Today’s announcement is more than a simple change in ownership. It’s the dawn of a more responsive and powerful organization,” said Joe Albert, general manager, Muller.

In addition, Lock n’Pop and Lachenmeier North America will now be working closely with the Muller management team to provide customers with a broader range of load containment products and support. Muller will now offer Lock n’ Pop equipment and adhesives and market the Lachenmeier brand of stretch hooding equipment and related film in North America.
